we're Reopening sept 12!

Thank you to our community for your patience, as we worked hard to get the Edmonton Tool Library safely ready for operations again! We are excited to announce that we will be officially reopening as of September 12, 2020. 

What to expect on your next visit:

1. Only 1 member is allowed into the library at a time. 
2. You will be required to wear a mask when inside the library, staff will also be wearing masks at all times.
3. There is a hand-sanitizing station located in the entrance - all members are required to sanitize their hands before touching tools.
4. A socially-distant line will be marked outside the building and a staff member will be outside to direct and answer any questions. Please dress for the weather!
5. Curbside return is available for anyone who is returning tools and not renting out. 
6. If you have tools currently on loan they are due back by September 26, 2020.
7. At this time we are unable to offer curbside pick-up or tool reservations. 
8. We encourage all members to browse our inventory ahead of time to allow us to serve as many people as possible.
9. We encourage all members to renew their memberships online, but this can be done in person with debit or credit tap
10. All memberships that were active as of March 15, have been extended by our length of closure. 

What to expect as a new member:

1. We encourage all new members to fill out the Membership application, Release of Liability Waiver and Indemnification and review our Borrowing Policy before your first visit to reduce sharing of stationary. 
2. We also encourage purchasing your membership online if you are able.
3. We encourage all members to browse our inventory ahead of time to allow us to serve as many people as possible.
